The opening dj sets of two veterans of the Czech club scene, Aid Kid and DJ Sestra, will kick off this year’s festival and accompanying programme Dojetí. Their selection from carefully curated music libraries will help ease the tension of the festival’s opening ceremony and set the tone for the days ahead.

Aid Kid is the stage name of musician, composer, and producer Ondřej Mikula. He first gained widespread attention with his self-titled debut album (2015), which won the prestigious Vinyla Award. His subsequent records (Cinematographer’s Journal, 2019; Collection, 2021) move between ambient music and club electronics. He primarily focuses on film and stage music; for the film Arvéd (2022), he received the Czech Lion Award together with Jonatán Pastirčák. He has also collaborated on acclaimed albums by Lenka Dusilová and the band Zvíře jménem Podzim. He performs both as a solo artist and in projects such as NIVVA, Tomáš Sýkora Trio, and alongside Lenka Dusilová.

DJ Sestra is a prominent figure on the Czech alternative and club scene, known for blending genres such as electro, re-edits, and indie music. His energetic and exuberant sets, full of unexpected rhythms and playful twists, regularly get audiences moving at festivals and clubs across the Czech Republic.
