The studio led by filmmaker and educator Georgy Bagdasarov has long been dedicated to collective work with photochemical film, experimenting with both camera-based and cameraless techniques. In their collaborative films, the group of students emphasizes the act of filmmaking itself—not as a means of developing conventional narrative or documentary structures, but as a ritual in its own right, one that finds fulfilment in the moment of analogue projection.
The student collective will present a special premiere of a film performance using two Super 8 projectors accompanied by live sound.
