The main evening of this year's music programme at the Club Na Dvorku in Marienbad will be dominated by singer and actress Monika Načeva, who will also present songs from her new album Jdem temným dnem. The project brings musicalized poems by artists persecuted by the past regime, such as Věra Jirousová, Jáchym Topol, Pavel Zajíček, Ivan Martin Jirous and others. She will be accompanied on stage by prominent personalities from different poles of the Czech alternative scene - Zdeněk "Regál" Jurčík, Vojtěch Procházka and Michal Koval, and together they will offer a powerful, musically and thematically deep experience.
The Czech composer and lyricist Magdalena Fendrychová, who performs under the pseudonym Kvietah and is a recent winner of the Anděl Award for Discovery of the Year, will perform her new album Díky, včely on the same evening. She has been active on the Czech music scene for several years, having first introduced herself with the album Hejno černých koček. She has collaborated with Lenka Dusilova or Jakub Čermák alias Cermaque. She is currently completing her studies in composition at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory. She will perform solo at the festival, otherwise she plays with the band The Kvietas.
