Driven to find a connection that gives meaning to their existence, a mutant being frees themself from a cycle of captivity to encounter an urbanized world, dominated by electronic ruins and collapsed structures. In their search for identity—between the artificial and the organic, the oneiric and the real—they attempt to define themselves within a universe in constant transformation.

Diandra Arriaga (*1990) is a filmmaker and producer. Her work focuses on experimental video and non-linear narratives, using analog and databending tools in her practice. Her first short film as a director "Un punk ejemplar" -An Exemplary Punk- (2023), had its world premiere in the Umbrales Competition of FICUNAM.
