The international section of Forum Marienbad have presented recently for example: Lois Patiño, Chloé Galibert-Laîné, Lorenzo Pallotta, Francesco Sossai, Viliam Dočolomanský, Ivan Marcović, Giuseppe Boccassini, Jiří Žák, Barbora Johansson, Milan Mazúr, Radek Brousil, Dimitris Anagnostou, Petr Šprincl and Viera Čákanyová.

Rules and conditions of the Forum Marienbad: Main Competition
1. The call is open to all films and audiovisual performances from the Czech Republic and abroad that show signs of cinematic experimentation.
2. The submitted work must be able to be screened or performed in a cinema, or work with a cinematographic situation.
3. The competition is open only to projects that have been produced from 1 January 2024 onwards (the date of the premiere is relevant if it has already taken place).
4. The competition limits the film's runtime to a maximum of 60 minutes.
5. Each filmmaker or creative collective may submit a maximum of two projects. The entry fee of 250 CZK is payable only once (for one or two projects). If the administrative fee is not paid, the application will not be accepted.
6. All submitted projects are obliged to secure all copyrights for the entire work and for the included components (design, video materials, music, text, etc.), and by submitting a project they guarantee that the organizers of the Marienbad Film Festival are not liable for any third party claims.
7. The authors hereby undertake to provide the film with English subtitles at their own expense (except for films in English).
8. By submitting your entry, you grant the organisers the right to record, reproduce, edit and display your submitted material and the work presented at the Marienbad Film Festival 2025 at no cost, for promotion and archive purposes, for an indefinite period of time. All other rights reserved.
9. By submitting your entry, you agree to the processing of your personal data and consent to the taking and use of photographs from the project presentation. The processing of the provided data is carried out in accordance with the GDPR rules listed on the festival website.
10. Submitting a project does not guarantee that the project will be included in the programme of the Marienbad Film Festival 2025.
11. Therefore, the international jury of three does not award one main prize, but symbolically three equally valuable Marienbad Film Festival Prizes. The awards also include a cash prize of 10,000 CZK for the filmmaker of each of the prize-winning films.
12. Each applicant is entitled to an accreditation for the entire programme of the 10th Marienbad Film Festival.

1. The call is open to all audiovisual essays from the Czech Republic and abroad that meet the definition of an audiovisual essay, video-essay (or also videographic essay) as an audiovisual work that develops a form of academic research or film criticism through film itself.
2. The submitted work must be able to be screened in a cinema.
3. The competition is only open to projects produced from 1 January 2022 onwards (the date of the premiere, if it has already taken place, or the date of the essay's online publication is relevant). Publication of the work online in no way affects its acceptance into the competition.
4. The recommended length of an audiovisual essay is up to 30 minutes, but longer works will be accepted.
